Beads, beading supplies and Italian ribbons. First and foremost the BeadedLily site is home to our own line of handmade glass beads created here in our Florence glass studio. Also quite popular among jewelry designers both here and abroad is our Italian Tubular Wire Mesh Ribbon. In addition you will find an interesting assortment of items ranging from Venetian pendants and Swarovski crystal to quality findings and lamp working supplies.

One-of-a-kind bracelets, necklaces & other items featuring our own handmade beads. Originally our line of hand-crafted, beaded jewelry was included as part of our BeadedLily site. However, we found that the individual items were getting a bit lost in the shuffle. The Beaded Lily Designs site allows for focus on the beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces themselves.

Your source in Italy for this endlessly versatile product. Coated in enamel and lacquered to prevent color change, this Italian product is water proof, heat resistant and nickel free. It can be used as a ribbon to support a pendant, as a tube with beads carefully inserted inside it or it can be fluffed out to nearly 3 times its original size, creating beautiful swirls and waves. It can be twisted, knotted and pulled into just about any shape. Weave wire into it, attach crystals... And this versatile product is certainly not limited to just jewelry design. Retail Store - Florence, Italy. Join us for a truly unique experience! Our Working Studio is a wonderful environment in which to shop, take a class, create a piece of jewelry or just hang out! Throughout the day you'll see glass beads being made at the torch and jewelry created using those beads.

English-Language Support Group. I built this site to be the online center for A Friend In Florence, a group started by our own Lily Morda. The program is aimed towards the English-speaking expat community who live, either full or part-time, in the Florence, Italy area.

I've found that there are quite a few similarities between designing websites and designing beads, both of which rely on a strong foundation and a well-balanced visual flow.
